MSHS Financial Need Scholarship Application

  • Master's degree-seeking student with a minimum of a 3.2 overall GPA
  • Admitted into a BLS department program without any academic conditions
    • Students who meet their academic conditions following their first semester may apply going into their second semester
  • Student must provide proof of economic disadvantage
  • Scored and ranked application statement

Award consideration for this scholarship is dependent on the completion of a FAFSA application.

Academic Information

I have been accepted into a BLS department program.
GWID must start with "G" followed by an 8-digit number.
Only students admitted into a BLS department program are eligible for this scholarship.

Financial Need

Please be aware that misrepresenting yourself will lead to loss of scholarship funds and consideration for funding in the future.

Any individual who comes from a family with an annual income below a level based on low-income thresholds established by the U.S. Census Bureau, adjusted annually for changes in the Consumer Price Index, is considered economically disadvantaged. Please refer to the U.S. Census Bureau (see 2022 file) for more clarity on low income levels.
To be considered for this scholarship, you must submit your IRS tax forms from the previous year to biomed_labsci@gwu.edu.
