Please join the Biomedical Laboratory Sciences (BLS) Department for an upcoming virtual information session to learn more about GW's School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) BLS Master's and Certificate programs.

The biomedical laboratory sciences are a growing field in the healthcare industry. Working alongside physicians, pathologists, and other members of the healthcare team, graduates of our programs are involved in the study of disease causation and diagnosis and are a critical member of the patient care team.

The virtual information session will cover the BLS Master of Science in Health Sciences (MSHS) programs, the Graduate Certificate program, and the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (PBC) programs.

The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (PBC) programs that this session will cover include: 

  • Medical Laboratory Sciences
  • Blood Banking
  • Clinical Chemistry 
  • Hematology
  • Microbiology
  • Molecular Diagnostic Science

The Graduate Certificate program that this session will cover include:

  • Clinical Laboratory Management

The Master's (MSHS) programs that this session will cover include:

  • Biomedical Laboratory Sciences
  • Clinical Laboratory Management
  • Clinical Microbiology
  • Laboratory Medicine
  • Molecular Diagnostic Science

The session will also cover information regarding program formats (fully online), career outlook, and admissions requirements. Application fee waivers are available to attendees.
