Please join the Biomedical Laboratory Sciences (BLS) Department for our upcoming in-person Open House to learn more about GW's School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) BLS Bachelor's programs.
The biomedical laboratory sciences are a growing field in the healthcare industry. Working alongside physicians, pathologists, and other members of the healthcare team, graduates of our programs are involved in the study of disease causation and diagnosis and are a critical member of the patient care team.
The Open House will cover the three BLS Bachelor's programs:
- Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART)
- Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS)
- Medical Genetics and Molecular Biology
The Open House will also offer the following:
- Light refreshments
- Application fee waivers for attendees
- Laboratory tours
- More information on our programs (hybrid and fully online), career opportunities/outlook, pre-health advising, and the admissions and application process
